This is absolutely correct. I can attest to this and since I am somewhat of a coffee expert, I wanted to leave my mark and comment on the validity of that statement. Keep it airtight on the counter or in the cabinet away from direct sunlight. Take care!

Holy cow!! I did not know this. I always thought I was doing the right thing by storing my ground coffee in a container in my fridge. Thanks for posting this.
