On the May 19th edition of Time magazine, it projects that they are pretty sure this time around. I don't have a problem with that even though I am a stach Clinton supporter. What I have a problem with is the Obama/Clinton dream ticket has not materialized yet. Both candidates need to stop bullshitting around and unite for neither has a chance to beat McCain without the other!

Both Clinton & Obama are truly acting ridiculous. I wish they would stop blanking around and come up with a plan to make a difference.

Last year, I remember telling Mrs Cheo that the presidency was the Democrats' to lose. I'm afraid my prophecy will come true. I am not sure that the so-called Dream Team ticket is the solution to the problem the Democrats have with the unity issue. There is so much bad blood between the two campaigns that any team that is forged will not carry its supporters along in the general election. I hear so many Democrats saying they'll write in a candidate in November -- i.e., Al Gore. As to what I would do, frankly I'm not certain. Like you I am a Clinton supporter though I've been disappointed by the conduct of her campaign. But I can't automatically switch my loyalty. I don't want to vote FOR someone simply for the sake of party unity. I'd like to think the candidate I support merits the nation's most important job.

Only time will tell.

I hope that you are wrong for a lose by the democratic party this time around would be a devastating blow to our republic. I am placing my support behind the party no matter whom is nominated.

I understand how you feel and agree that a loss to McCain would be a devastating blow to the republic and to the cause of peace. I, too, wish I am wrong and this will somehow all come together in November. If not, then I hope that the Democrats can at least bolster their position in Congress to a veto-proof majority.The nation absolutely needs to break this cycle; it is affecting our national psyche.

Thanks for reminding me about the veto-proof majority for if there is a will there is a way.
