Fawcett's son worried her to an early death.

you know, when i first heard she died of "anal cancer" i seriously had to rewind to hear the news report again. it's not everyday the anchor says 'anal' on television.
Very true, however the media should be reporting on events of this nature more often in the attempt to educate society in prevention of diseases.

Hmmm...I hate to say it but Farrah Fawcett had been dealing with those kinds of problems all of her life. She was in a good mental place for the fight, unfortunately the fight was simply too much. I don't think it was Redmond's fault because she had faced worse in her life.

I really think the fault lies in the lack of research into this form of cancer. Limited research leads to limited treatments. Hopefully, awareness will raise money for new research so others survive.

Thanks for your comment. I fully understand your point of view, however, Redmond should still feel bad about the extra stress he placed upon his mother.
