Ladies and Gentelmen, Mother's Day is here once again and my Mother-in-Law has fixed a small feast in celebration. Sauer Braten is what is pictured and it was washed down with a Hefe Weiss beer.

I've never had this dish before...by the way what is sauer braten? I hope your mother's day celebration was a wonderful one! ^-^ It's still early here in Hawaii so we're yet to get started!

This is what I remember of food in Germany: never looked that great but boy, did it taste good.

Yummy seems like a typical bavarese meal I've had in Munich few weeks ago!

Thanks, I am still trying to live even better. I must make some more adjustments to reach a higher plateau.

Hello MorningBerryz,

Sauer braten is sour marinated beef roasted to perfection. The celebration went rather well.

The food was fantastic--only a Mother really knows how to do it. I even had two Hefe beers.

Yes, it is a typical meal, but this meal was made with a Motherly love.

Looks fabulous....what is her address, tell her I am coming for dinner tomorrow night...
