Sen. McCain sets the record straight and I am proud of him!

Interestingly, that response from McCain came only after a week's worth of him or Palin not saying anything (her just smiling and winking) when the rally audiences were whipped into a frenzy of "Kill him" and "Terrorist!" cries. Apparently, the SS and FBI took those outcries a lot more seriously than the campaign, as they are now investigating those people. And they still keep allowing this stuff at their rallies, with Palin justifying it as "the people wanting to know, and having the right to know, about Obama's background.

The Palin-McCain campaign has degenerated into this sort of thing as the norm rather than the exception.

I agree with you 100%.
It was good that he corrected the woman, but on the other hand, he seems to imply at the same time that being a decent family man is somehow not an "Arab" trait, which tells us something about his general frame of mind.
Thanks for your comment and the insightful "is somehow not an 'Arab' trait".
