Sen. McCain sets the record straight and I am proud of him!
More specifically,
At a rally in Minnesota on Friday (10 October 2008), a woman told McCain: "I don't trust Obama. I have read about him and he's an Arab."
McCain shook his head and said, "No ma'am, no ma'am. He's a decent family man...[a] citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues. That's what this campaign is all about."
What are your thoughts?

Interestingly, that response from McCain came only after a week's worth of him or Palin not saying anything (her just smiling and winking) when the rally audiences were whipped into a frenzy of "Kill him" and "Terrorist!" cries. Apparently, the SS and FBI took those outcries a lot more seriously than the campaign, as they are now investigating those people. And they still keep allowing this stuff at their rallies, with Palin justifying it as "the people wanting to know, and having the right to know, about Obama's background.
The Palin-McCain campaign has degenerated into this sort of thing as the norm rather than the exception.
