Homemade Helicopter: Nigerian Man Builds Working Helicopters from Junk

A 24-year-old undergraduate from Nigeria is building helicopters out of old car and bike parts. Mubarak Muhammed Abdullahi, a physics student, spent eight months building the yellow model seen here, using the money he makes from repairing cellphones and computers. While some of the parts have been sourced from a crashed 747, the chopper contains all sorts of surprises.

 This man created something out of nothing without no sponsors and no technology. Just think what he could do if he had a sponsor. Simply amazing! 

Goodies from the Deep South

I cannot believe it, another unexpected X-mas gift has just arrived in the mail.  And one that came all the way across the pond. Thanks to my Aunt for the home made canned blueberry, blackberry and figs. And of course the Mississippi grown pecans. I will taste the delicacies at a later but very soon date.

How are you spending Christmas Day?

I am not doing a damn thing except drinking some beer and surfing the Internet. What else is there to do?

X-mas tree in Bavaria

My X-mas tree in Bavaria. OK, it is fake but at least I don't have that guilty feeling in killing a totally innocence tree. What are your thoughts about artificial trees?
