Sanyo, VW to develop batteries for hybrids
Lithium-ion strategy comes as VW works on diesel-electric Golf
TOKYO - Sanyo and Germany's Volkswagen AG will develop lithium-ion batteries for hybrid vehicles as global automakers race to develop more environmentally friendly technology.
I have a good feeling that this agreement between these two giants will revolutionize the hybrid market. VW has their amazing TDI engine and Sanyo has developed the Eneloop battery in the recent past. With these products in mind, I am convinced, hook, line and sinker.
‘Rain of money’ in Indonesia? It’s marketing
Motivational speaker plans to drop cash out of airplane
JAKARTA, Indonesia - If you're short of cash and don't mind running in tropical humidity and smog for a few bucks, read on. An Indonesian businessman plans to throw 100 million rupiah (about $10,600) out of an airplane over the capital this Sunday as a publicity stunt to promote his new book.
I hope he has plans to promote his new book here in Germany soon for I need help paying my rent and a few other things now that I think about it.

Can you believe that I bought these tea pots several years ago and have never served tea out of them. I believe it is time for the next flee market visit.
NEW YORK (CNN) -- "Former
White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan, whose tell-all book blasts the
Bush administration on issues including Hurricane Katrina, the election and the
Iraq
war, didn't say Friday whether he still considers himself a Republican." OMG, did I just read correctly?

Worst yet (for Republicans), Mr. McClellan says "he supports parts of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama's agenda." Ladies and Gentlemen the firestorm has just began. That said, I can't wait until he testifies before Congress.

However, what I did not know was that the city has special allowance to start 30 minutes early, therefore I cannot complain. Luckily they only mow my neck of the woods a few times per year.
Ms. Campbell has a history of assaulting assistants and employees but now she has apparently assaulted two police officers. Now, if this was a normal citizen like us in “Voxland” we would probably have been already locked up (jailed) at least once by now. And let us keep in mind that these are only the reported incidences for I believe that her unchecked rages happened more often than we may think.
A small excerpt of the article states: “She arrived at the police station Thursday in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes. She left without speaking, but her lawyer said the supermodel was "bitterly disappointed" that she had been charged.”
“Bitterly disappointed” she says. She should humble herself and be thankful that she is only facing six months in prison and that there are many other countries in this world that offer much stiffer punishment.
Any thoughts on how Ms. Campbell’s behavior can be altered in the future?
