Just in case if you were wondering what I occasionally shop for food, one can see for them self. And yes, I know I need to lay off the cookies, but I just cannot help myself sometimes. Every person has their vice/s and this is one of mine—sweets.

Men washing dishes?  Women fixing the leaky faucet?  Well, according to this article the longer a couple is married, the more likely they are to undergo a reversal of traditional roles in their home. That said, I was wondering how the chores are broken up in your households?  Any takers?

Btw, that Tomaten-Zucchinni casserole wasn't bad for a vegi dinner. 

Goodies from the Deep South

I cannot believe it, another unexpected X-mas gift has just arrived in the mail.  And one that came all the way across the pond. Thanks to my Aunt for the home made canned blueberry, blackberry and figs. And of course the Mississippi grown pecans. I will taste the delicacies at a later but very soon date.

X-mas tree in Bavaria

My X-mas tree in Bavaria. OK, it is fake but at least I don't have that guilty feeling in killing a totally innocence tree. What are your thoughts about artificial trees?
