I found the new German "People's Car" advertised one again in the 16,3 million club member ADAC magazine. Please note with prices hovering around Euro 7,500 (for a basis model) one cannot help to believe a new age of revolution is upon the German auto market. Remember, the original VW Beetle 50 plus years ago was a best seller and it is quite possible that this modern Romanian import will be also. Yes, ladies and Gentleman, according to the August edition of the German ADAC magazine reports that “Gas in Europe is the most expensive”. Norway is the leader of the pack (Euro 1.67 per liter) while Venezuela enjoys bargain basement prices (Euro .3 per liter). Remember, (if you were complaining about the high or low costs) this post is just something to ponder about the next time you fill your tank up.
Being dirt cheap or frugal with my money when it comes to cutting off the end of a toothpaste tube and retrieving every last bit of paste is an event I take seriously. When my spouse catches me doing this, she is mad. She says that I don't have to do such a thing for we make enough money! What do you think? Am I being a cheap ass or should I continue to be frugal.
