This video is an excellent reminder in why life can be simply and most fulfilling and the instrumentality to make this happen is what I believe all humans posses----the ability to REASON.
Take the time out of your busy schedule to watch (only 3:35 minutes) for such knowledge can set you free from the tentacles that are presently holding you back.
Reason 1: I don't have any unnecessary fears.
Reason 2: I don't have any unnecessary feeling of guilt.
Reason 3: I live for this life and this world.

And better yet "The best option is just not to say anything, "he said.
Moreover, articles like this one only highlights just how far one ladies religious beliefs can go astray from common reason. And with that written, I profess once again my steadiest belief in Deism and how simple it is to follow in contrast to the ball and chain mentality of other mainstream established religions.
It is not often that I take the side of the GOP (source) but I also denounce this housing legislation as a bailout for irresponsible homeowners and unscrupulous lenders. However, through deregulation and “let the market be” approach that many conservatives hold dear to their hearts didn't help the present situation much. That said, I have a chance to hop upon my soap box and proclaim once again that: your one stop shopping religion “Deism” teaches self-reliance and encourages people to constantly use their reason for an iota of prudent thought could have prevented this mess in the first place.
Lastly, Deism teaches to "question authority" no matter what the cost. And asking the probing questions and weighing them against facts not fiction would save the tax payer much more in the long run than a bail out from the Government in the short run.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you a short excerpt of an essay about the Deism's appreciation of life and beauty. Don't despair for life is way to short. Rather, read on Sister and Brothers for it could change your life for the better!!!
“One of the best roads to happiness is to greatly appreciate the positive things in life. In spite of many obstacles that everyone has in their lives that need to be overcome, the fact remains there is much to be thankful for. To quote Thomas Paine:
"But if objects for gratitude and admiration are our desire, do they not present themselves every hour to our eyes? Do we not see a fair creation prepared to receive us the instant we are born - a world furnished to our hands, that cost us nothing? Is it we that light up the sun, that pour down the rain, and fill the earth with abundance? Whether we sleep or wake, the vast machinery of the universe still goes on."
From personal experience I know if my problems seem overwhelming, all I need to do is force myself to only think of the positive things in life and my spirits are soon picked up and fortified. I not only feel better, but my mind is cleared and solutions to the problems flow much smoother. And the more often I use this method the easier it becomes.”

I anyone in Voxland didn't know my belief in Deism is the number one all encompassing driving factor in my life, therefore, I couldn't resist but sharing this very short passage (taken from The World Union of Deists) that outlines the relationship between Deism and Death.
“The fear of death is a big motivator for many people to support a particular religion. We all know, without the possibility of doubt, that a day will come for absolutely all of us when we will die. This realization brings fear to many people. It also brings money to religious charlatans who aren't ashamed to prey on this fear. In fact, it can be truthfully said that the revealed religions of the world all use the fear of death to put cash in their own pockets.
Contrary to this self-serving attitude of the revealed religions, Deism teaches that no one knows for certain what happens after death, if anything at all. It teaches that, based on the creation we are all a part of, we shouldn't worry about it. That instead, we should be concerned for the present and future of planet Earth and humanity. That we should work hard to improve life and also enjoy it here and now. Why should we worry about death when we have so much to do in life? And do we think so little of Nature's God that we don't trust Him with our future?”
Any questions or comment?
As you all know my motto for xmangerm is: Reason and Free Thought practiced here.
Therefore, I will share some of my Deist thoughts about faith. Source—deism.com
Got Faith?
Webster’s Desk Dictionary defines faith as “complete confidence or trust.” The big question is, in what?
Most people seem to confuse religion with God. They think that by believing in a “revealed” religion such as Christianity or Islam, they are putting their faith in God when in reality they’re just putting their faith in the claims made by the “revealed” religion. Also, many people that reject the “revealed” religions mistakenly believe they are rejecting God and that they’re atheists, when in fact all they really are rejecting is the false and unreasonable claim of the “revealed” religion to divine inspiration.
All three of the Big Three “revealed” religions, Judaism and its two off-shoots Christianity and Islam, are based on unproven claims of mere men that God gave them revelations to put into writing that make up the text of their various “holy” books. When you decide to follow any one of these “revealed” religions, you’re only putting your faith in the claims these men have made, you are not putting your faith in God.
An alternative to the “revealed” religions is Deism. Deism is a natural religion/philosophy that rejects all of the “holy” books of all of the various “revealed” religions and instead bases its belief in God on the creation we see and are a part of everyday. The Bible of the Deist is the Creation itself! No man could have designed and created the creation, yet any man could have written any and all of the various “holy” books of the various “revealed” religions!
