This visit was the highlight of my Sunday. In fact, the hike up to the top at 745 meters above sea level was a small challenge. I think it is time to get back in shape. Btw, Fluffy didn't have a problem climbing whatsoever.
The ruins of Flossenbürg Castle, built in around 1100, overlook the nearby town of Flossenbürg, known for its abundance of granite.
I believe that I am somewhat out of shape for the hills were challenging. Nevertheless, the fresh forest air was refreshing for both of us.
Fair milk prices is what the local German farmer is after.
Today started off very sunny but the clouds moved on in to bring us a tad cooling off period. Thanks Mother Nature:)) How was the weather in your neck of the woods today?
Yes, today is hot but thanks to the Weiden trees the heat is bearable:)
I you look closely you can see the water marks left by the street cleaning machine. Why is this important you may ask. Well, it is a good reminder that my tax Euros are being used wisely on a rather nice Sunday morning. Remebmer, a city can never have enough clean streets for there is always room for improvement.
